a story that touched my heart

One night a guy & a girl were driving home from the movies.
The boy sensed there was something wrong because of the painful
silence they shared between them that night.
The girl then asked the boy to pull over because she wanted to talk.
She told him that her feelings had changed & that it was time to move on.
A silent tear slid down his cheek as he slowly reached into his pocket
& passed her a folded note.
At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down that very same street.
He swerved right into the drivers seat, killing the boy.
Mieraculously, the girl survived. Remembering the note,
she pulled it out & read it. "Without your love, I would die."

I was reading this before I came upon your love story. May be you see some relavance:

Flickering flame of love is the beginning of marriage. After marriage flicker starts to die down. More often than not love between man and woman results in to a marriage and then on it starts losing ground. No body would have remembered famous folklores if Heer had married to Rangha, Sassi to Punnon, and Mirza to Saheban.

“Accomplishment kills the need.” This cliché also points towards the death of the flame of desire. There is no infinite pleasure in the world that always remains with the achievers. Perpetuity of blissful effects creates ennui and recurrence of pleasurable events creates abhorrence. Many lovers who married kept living together for the sake of love alone. One lover has confessed this in a verse: “I will remain trapped in your magic. I will say I am not conscious even if I am.”

But some folks have disproved this truth. There was no end to heavenly love life of Muhammad Shahab ud Din, the Governor East Pakistan and his wife. Marriage could never turn their love life into a bore, or a dull or any less delightful relationship. Neither their love was for sake of it. They used to pray to live and die together.

And, both died the same day.

PS: This is a true story.
