Ghost from the Past!

I had a dream Last night...




I was afraid cuz it was so dark
Dark deep sky & sea sorrounding me,
I fear the water cuz am a desert gurl,
I was flying around a gray light boat,
I wanted to stay away
but arms were reaching out
from the boat to keep me close
The ghost grabbed me.

I felt his needs of keeping me around
But I was scared..trying hard
I freed myself and flied away
The ghost looked at me with misty eyes
"I'm lonely" said gently..
But I kept on flying away
The arms reached out
for me again
Imprison me tightly
in a firm grip

I wept inside for I wana go
begging the ghost to fly me away
My voice was low,
my throat was dry..
I struggled my way out
Fly for a while
To be captured again

I screamed without words,
Ghost from the past
please let me go
Live your life & let us be
Ghost from the past
why can't you stop
I am happy can't you see the lights?
didn't you know that
this is not my place?

Ghost from the past couldn't accept defeat
For he is stubborn & selfish
only thinks of himslef..
'til when will you keep hunting us?
Stop creepin' under my bed.

Ghost from the past
You were never part of me
Ghost from the past
you were just a stranger to me

and that's all you'll ever be!!!

with a hidden will,I freed my wings
and fluttered high,leaving the Ghost alone..

The stars in heaven shine so bright,
but did you know you were my light?
You helped me grow, you set me free,
you always saw the best in me.
And did you know when days were sad,
you always cared, my heart was glad.
My thoughts of you are always sweet,
and you have made my life complete.
You are my blanket from the storm,
your kind embrace will keep me warm.
No matter where our lives may go,
there is one thing that you should know.
That I will cherish my whole life through,
the heartfelt days I've spent with you.
